Got a health question or concern? Try looking through previous posts - your question may have already been answered. You can also click on SEARCH (above) and see the wealth of information contained within Women's Health Matters. Our health expert moderators will try to help you in your search for information but, please note, they cannot provide medical advice. Therefore, if your question is urgent, or of a specific medical nature, please talk to your health-care practitioner. The strength and unique value of Le Club Discussions lies in the wisdom of the women who come here to share their own experiences with each other.

Because they check in every few days, it may take up to five working days to receive any comment from our expert moderators. Moderators are also there to ensure that participants are on topic and respectful of each other. Posts are not previewed before they appear, but the moderators can and will remove inappropriate posts.

Please do not post comments (positive or negative) about a health-care provider, clinic or service. Women’s College Hospital does not endorse any health-care providers, clinics or services recommended in Le Club Discussion Groups and we will remove all such comments from the posts. There are other services, such as RateMDs.com (not affiliated with Women’s College Hospital) where patients can rate and read about their doctors.

We welcome all Canadian residents to share experiences, questions and concerns in Le Club Discussions. Before reading the posts and participating in the Discussion groups please read the Terms of Use and accept the terms and conditions of the Agreement; and review the Discussion Group Guidelines. You must register for the Discussion to post messages.

Keeping fit is one of the best things women can do for themselves. It not only improves health and helps protect against conditions such as cardiovascular disease, osteoporosis and obesity, but it also helps reduce stress, control weight and boost energy levels. Your body is the vehicle you live your whole life in, and keeping it in good shape is one of the best ways to ensure a long, healthy and fulfilling journey. That’s why we are featuring Women and Fitness in our Resource Picks of the month.
