| Sheryl Mitchell
Director,
Women’s Health Partnerships, Women’s College
Hospital
Sheryl is responsible for the administration and operations of womenshealthmatters.ca and its various projects. These have included projects funded by the Ontario Women’s Health Council, the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Canadian Council on Learning and Industry Canada.
Sheryl has
held health promotion positions at various hospitals;
taught health promotion to physicians; and ghost-written
a medical advice column for a daily newspaper in Hong
Kong.
She has also
volunteered at several women’s health organizations
including the Vancouver Women’s Health Collective,
Planned Parenthood and the Toronto Women’s Health
Network. Sheryl holds a Masters Degree in Community
Health from the University of Toronto.

| Jean Greenberg
Database Coordinator, womenshealthmatters.ca
Jean joined womenshealthmatters.ca in 2002. She coordinated the Women's Health Matters Resource Database project until the funding for the project ended in March 2007. This included database development, overseeing the day-to-day work of the project, selecting new resources, and writing and editing the descriptions of the resources. She currently continues this work in the Health A-Z section.
A librarian, Jean has experience in book selection, cataloguing, abstracting, writing, editing and the development and implementation of Web-based databases. Jean's last position before coming to womenshealthmatters.ca was Implementation Coordinator of 211Toronto.ca's online database of community services in Toronto.
Her first book of poetry, Turning Dirt into Jewels, was published in April 2004.

Patricia Nicholson
Health Writer
Patricia writes news and features for Women’s Health Matters. Her journalism experience includes covering science and medicine from the Petri dish to the pharmacy, with a particular interest in women’s health. She joined Women’s Health Matters in 2009 after several years working for science and health magazines. She has a master’s degree in journalism from Carleton University.

Web Design, Administration and Support
John is an
entrepreneur and partner of Best
Light Communication, an Acton Vale, Québec-based
company that specializes in web design and marketing.
John handles many of the back-end coding requirements
for womenshealthmatters.ca, as well as some of the
web
design and other web-based administrative tasks.
Prior to
applying his technical know-how to the Internet, John
had a successful 25-year career as one of the first
organic produce growers in the province of Québec.

| Janice Pearson
Discussion Group Coordinator, womenshealthmatters.ca
Janice coordinates
the Discussion Groups at Le Club, providing support
to the moderators and readers as well as moderating
Le Club's General Health and Pregnancy discussion groups.
Janice has been a childbirth educator since 1981, certified
by Humber College, and has been affiliated with Women's
College Ambulatory Care Centre since 1983.
Janice has
a special interest in combining technology and women's
health, and is the author of many print and online articles
on women's health, pregnancy and technology issues.
She lives in London, England.

Alain Boutilier
Translator
Alain is a freelance translator living in Montreal. During the past
10 years, his areas of specialization have included HIV/AIDS, women's
health and treatment access advocacy. He has been involved with womenshealthmatters.ca
since 2000.

Pauline Pelletier
Translator/French Proofreader
Pauline is
a Certified Translator (Eng.-Fr./Fr.-Eng.), reviser
and proofreader with almost two decades of experience
in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. She
is a member of the Association of Translators and Interpreters
of Ontario (ATIO) and the Editors' Association of Canada
(EAC) and has been providing linguistic services to
womenshealthmatters.ca since 2001.

| Mamadou Seck
Translator,
French Writer/Editor
Born in Dakar,
Sénégal, Mamadou arrived in Canada in
1970. He attended Laval University in Québec
City, where
he obtained an Honours BA in Linguistics, an Honours
BA in translation and a High School Teaching Certificate.
Prior to moving to Toronto to work as a senior translator,
he taught and worked as a teacher, translator, interpreter
and editor for many organizations across Canada. He
is a certified member of the Association of Translators
and Interpreters of Ontario.
